People experience tension, stress, pain, anxiety and yearn for relaxation, to let go and float in the feeling of health.  Therapeutic Massage helps to relax tense muscle and increase the blood flow to affected areas.  The increase of blood flow brings in more oxygen and nutrients, which will reduce muscle stiffness and increase flexibility to help relieve pain.  Reduction in pain helps the body to relax.

Therapeutic massage also promotes the release of endorphins and raises the levels of serotonin and dopamine; these hormones help your body feel good. They help the body heal, support pain management and regulate your automatic nervous system. When you’re nervous system is unbalanced, you are left in the fight or flight response, stressed.  By decreasing the stress, side of the nervous system and increasing the rest/restore side   – relaxation occurs.
